From time to time, to selected applicants, Calivale Keeshonds (dogs and bitches) retire to pet homes. We allow our Kees to retire from the show ring and from breeding to selected loving homes where they will be cared for and loved by their new family. (All Kees in retirement are spayed.) Keeshonds as mature adults or as puppies have an uncanny ability to adapt very quickly to their new surroundings - in fact, all our retired Kees love their new homes and all the special individual attention they have. You'll actually find that a retired Calivale Keeshond is an Australian Confirmation Champion and may in fact be the parent or grandparent of an outstanding Keeshond. You'll also find a Calivale Keeshond has an excellent temperament with children and older people; is house trained and moderately obedience trained. WHAT A PERFECT PET!! Listed left are Calivale's retired Keeshonds, all enjoying a great "dog's life" in their new family homes. Some live with retired folk, others with families, and some replace another loved pet.
